This system offers a novel solution for the feeding, plasticizing, and precise dosing of viscous to highly viscous polymers, adhesives, and sealants in continuous mixing processes that demand high dosing accuracy. The Polymer Dosing System ensures a continuous mixing process, uniform and reproducible mixture quality, and high process stability.
The Polymer Dosing System integrates a roll-ex® gear pump with a suitable feeding unit. Depending on the compound characteristics and process parameters, either a screw extruder (SF) or a conical twin-screw extruder (DSE) of an appropriate size is used. The use of the DSE, in particular, enables the processing of raw materials in fewer intermediate steps. This innovative, precise dosing solution guarantees easy handling and simple process integration, making it a standout choice for industry professionals.
