ISOPA is the European trade association representing the producers of diisocyanates and polyols, key raw materials used to make polyurethanes. Based in Brussels, ISOPA supports the safe and sustainable use of these substances across the European polyurethanes industry.
Through our product stewardship work, ISOPA promotes high safety, health and environmental standards across the value chain, encouraging best practices in the distribution and use of diisocyanates. As part of this commitment, ISOPA, together with ALIPA and the support of the wider polyurethane industry including FEICA, launched the Safe Use of Diisocyanates training platform.
The digital platform helps companies and professionals meet regulatory training requirements under the REACH Regulation and ensure the safe handling and use of diisocyanates through targeted and multilingual self-eLearning modules, Train-the-Trainer courses, webinars, and more. More information is available at www.safeusediisocyanates.eu.
ISOPA also engages with policymakers at EU and national levels, providing science-based information and data on diisocyanates and polyols. In addition, ISOPA collaborates with the polyurethane value chain to highlight how polyurethanes contribute to energy efficiency, safety, sustainability and innovation.
Through technical expertise, regulatory engagement and collaboration, ISOPA helps Europe’s industry operate safely and responsibly.
