- Benjamin Nummert is Chair of SIP Working Group, Member of Mobility & Electronics Working Group, PPWR Compliance and Substitution Planning Task Forces.
- Benjamin brings broad international public affairs experience from over a decade in national and international associations and businesses. He combines expertise in the chemical industry with a strategic background in politics and economics.
- Benjamin began his career in a German think tank before moving into public affairs roles at VCI (Verband der Chemischen Industrie) and BASF. He took responsibility for driving stakeholder collaboration and driving the political debate on the chemical industry’s sustainable transformation, in particular in the fields of chemical regulation, circular economy and alternative feedstocks.
- Since January 2024, Benjamin has been Head of Industry Affairs at Henkel, shaping the Adhesive Technologies business unit’s global strategic political positioning.
