Kristel Ons is the Secretary General of FEICA, the Association of the European Adhesive & Sealant Industry. Since taking on the role, she has led the organisation’s strategic direction and strengthened its position as the unified voice of an industry that is essential to Europe’s innovation, competitiveness, and sustainability ambitions. Adhesives and sealants enable performance, durability, and circularity across countless value chains, and Kristel ensures these contributions are recognised in EU policymaking and industrial dialogue.

Representing an industry in which 85% of companies are SMEs, Kristel works closely with members, national associations, and stakeholders to foster a supportive regulatory and economic environment for the European adhesive and sealant industry. She also serves as Chair of the Heads of Associations of the Downstream Users of Chemicals Co-ordination Group (DUCC), where she contributes to high‑level discussions on the future of EU chemicals legislation, advocating for smart, predictable regulation that supports safety, innovation, and Europe’s long‑term competitiveness.
