Innovative Raw Material Solutions for PUR Hot Melt Adhesives
This presentation explores innovative raw material solutions for polyurethane reactive (PUR) hot melt adhesives, focusing on the integration of solid acrylic resins, copolyesters, monomer resins, and EVM. As performance requirements in woodworking, automotive, and advanced manufacturing continue to rise, formulators are seeking improved adhesion, heat resistance, flexibility, and processing stability.
We will discuss how solid acrylic resins enhance cohesive strength and thermal performance, how copolyesters contribute to balanced flexibility and durability, and how monomer resins optimize tack and compatibility. In addition, the application of EVM in PUR systems will be analyzed in terms of impact resistance and low-temperature performance. Through formulation strategies and practical case insights, this session provides actionable solutions to achieve higher performance and broader application potential in next-generation PUR hot melt systems.
