Respol Resinas SA is a Portuguese company founded in 1993 and headquartered in Leiria, Portugal. Operating in the rosin derivatives market, Respol exports to more than 40 countries worldwide and is one of Europe’s leading rosin upgraders.
The company develops, manufactures, and markets rosin derivatives for a wide range of applications, including adhesives, printing inks, coatings, and road markings, with a production capacity of approximately 45,000 tons per year.
A key strength is its vertical integration — through the acquisition of Forchem Oyj in 2013, Respol secured control over its most critical raw material, rosin.
